Advanced Balayage & Modern Colour

Using multiple tones adds depth and dimension. Combining warm and cool shades can enhance movement and create natural-looking blends. Key considerations:

    • Shade Selection: Choose tones that complement each other and suit the client’s skin tone.

    • Blending Techniques: Layer lighter and darker shades for a seamless gradient.

    • Placement Strategy: Start with darker shades at roots or mid-lengths and blend lighter tones toward the ends.

    • Timing: Process lighter shades longer if necessary, but monitor to avoid over-processing.

    Exercise:

    1. Plan a 2–3 tone balayage look for a client with medium brown hair.

    2. Write down the shade combinations, placement, and processing times.
